Fokker Dr. 1 History:
The Fokker Dr.1 was Germany's Sopwith Triplane in the WWI fighter aircraft , designed by Reinhold Platz and built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke with production 320 totally. Many famous experirenced pilots flied the figther aircraft like 'Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen', who was commonly known as the 'Red Baron'. The Fokker Dr.1 was a highly manoeuvrable and very agile plane, it enjoyed outstanding performance in air wrestle.
Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen (May 2nd, 1892 – April 21st, 1918), the most successful experienced pilot from Germany, known as the 'Red Baron'. He was also the leader of the Flying Circus or Jasta 11, (a squadron during the WWI that shot down more than 300 allied planes), he had 80 confirmed victories.
