The Parkflyers Pitts Biplane RTF
The Pitts Biplane was one of the most dominant aircrafts in aerobatic competitions during the 1960s and 70s. Its RC counterpart is a superb emulation model and takes aerobatic flight to a whole new level. The aircraft has twice the wing area of tradition RC planes so it is a lot easier to fly whether in 3D or at slower speeds.
Power comes from a 1200kv brushless motor which guarantees a power to weight ratio that is greater than 1:1. This out runner motor works in tandem with a 1300 Mah 11.1 Volt lipoly battery through a 20amp brushless ESC. Also included in the Pitts Biplane package are a 4-channel 2.4GHz radio system with 6-channel receiver and a peak balanced lipoly charger which automatically shuts off when charging is complete.
This classic biplane has been conceptualized and built with a fully modular airframe which is easy to assemble and maintain. It has earned a sterling reputation with regard to its exceptional stability and aerobatic capabilities including harriers, hovering, inverted and vertical flight. Other notable features of the Pitts are the smoked canopy and the different paint design on top and bottom. Finally, the Pitts Biplane is ideal for making the transition from beginner to the middle skill level.
