The ready to fly P-38 Tangerine is a 300 class twin engine fighter. This 100% scale World War II aircraft really looks like the actual plane built by Lockheed for the United States Army Air Corps. It has the distinct twin bombs and the central nacelle which contains the cockpit.

Equipped with twin 180 motors, the P-38 Tangerine is one of the most powerful WWII RC planes around. The powerful motors allow the aircraft to fly smoothly and climb out with incredible thrust. The airframe is lightweight and durable thanks to the EPO foam construction. The EPO foam has been tried and tested to be stronger and lighter than both EPP and Styrofoam. This makes the P-38 a perfect first-time plane because it will stay in one piece a lot easier!

The P-38 comes with a cutting-edge 4-channel 2.4 GHz radio system which provides a whopping 4000 foot range. In addition, the dual spectrum technology enables the radio to lock onto the receiver without any loss of radio control. Flight time is approximately 10 minutes when the 800 Mah Lipoly 7.4 volt battery is fully charged. Also included is a Lipoly charger with balancing and adjustable charge rates. This means the charger will automatically shut off when charging is complete.

Everything you need to fly is contained in one box. All the unique details have been painted and stickered with utmost care so the aircraft is exactly to scale! This makes the P-38 a 100% replica of the WWII bomber that struck fear into the heart of the enemy.
