As those of you who are familiar with the Star Wars saga know that there were two different versions of props produced for each film.

The “hero” versions of each prop were constructed using higher quality materials (usually metal) and would be used in close ups shots during filming or for promotional/marketing purposes. The “stunt” sabers were generally made out of resin and would be used by the actors during the filming of the action and fight scenes of the movie. Up until now these stunt sabers have been given very little attention by the prop replica community, but eFX has decided to honor these often forgotten “heroes” of film making history by producing a line of high quality, exact 1:1 replicas of the stunt sabers.
